A place to take a breather, unwind and rebuild your life
Being diagnosed with breast cancer profoundly changes your body, your emotions, your bearings and your relationships. You don’t have to go through this ordeal alone.
The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation offers free psychosocial support with a social worker, for people with breast cancer and their loved ones. Take advantage of human, caring support that’s fully adapted to your reality – whether you’re undergoing active treatment or in a post-treatment adaptation period.
What we offer:
- A safe, non-judgmental place to talk freely about what you’re going through: fears, doubts, grief… but also your strengths and hopes.
- Emotional support to help you better understand and cope with your feelings: anxiety, anger, sadness, emotional fatigue, etc.
- Personalized tools and strategies to help you regain balance in your daily life, your relationships and your relationship with yourself.
- Help in navigating available resources, from administrative procedures to family and community support.
Meetings can be in person, by telephone or videoconference – whatever works best for you.
Every journey is unique. We’re here to listen, accompany and support you, at your own pace.
Just make an appointment. Let’s move forward together, step by step.
