Hypnosis is a state of consciousness based on deep-relaxation techniques that enables the individual to reconnect with their own inner resources. It uses suggestions, metaphors or guided visualization to soothe the mind and promote overall well-being. Recognized as a complementary support technique in various healthcare situations, hypnosis helps to promote a sense of calm, reduce anxiety-arousing thoughts and regain inner balance.

This program has been specifically designed to provide caring support to help you deal with the “after” more serenely and gently.

Hypnosis

Feedback from participants

“I was 36 years old at the time, with two wonderful children, a loving husband, a family, friends, a profession I loved, and good health. To say it was a shock is an understatement. As a doctor myself, I didn’t need to hear a lot of explanations or do in-depth reading to understand the seriousness of my situation.

“I accepted all the treatments, including surgery and chemotherapy. I saw a psychologist regularly. I meditated, practised sports, read and wrote. I was well looked after. I was able to talk about it and vent with my family and friends. Despite everything, my brain and my heart were constantly in a state of panic, with disaster scenarios. I didn’t know what more to do to help myself. There was still a big knot to unravel.

“That’s when I decided to try hypnosis. By then, I had nothing left to lose. At best it helped, at worst it did nothing. Caroline was an exceptional listener and a great help. She knew how to find the right words and the right exercises to bring me down to a level where I could regain my inner calm through this storm. Thanks to these recordings of hypnosis sessions, I’ve found a new anchor and inner peace that I can access on a daily basis.

“I found a practical tool that helped me refocus and seize the moment. It also allowed me to step back from my experience as a doctor and become part of my own story. It helped me to see the situation realistically rather than as a catastrophe. Caroline and hypnosis are an invaluable part of my toolbox for coping with cancer, and I won’t hesitate to call on her services again during my long and healthy life.”

Anne, support during breast cancer:

“I’m so grateful to Life, Caroline, for having brought you into my journey.”
