This shows consideration for women affected by breast cancer.&#8221;, says Jida El Hajjar, Vice-President of Investment and Health Promotion at the QBCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over a 24-month period, the amount refunded will be $425 per prosthesis for a total ablation and $250 per prosthesis for a partial mastectomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The QBCF offers a financial assistance program to support women affected during treatment as well as during their convalescence. This program already includes, since several years, a section for external breast prosthesis claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This announcement re-emphasizes the importance of supporting women affected. Financial insecurity is a substantial reality when one is diagnosed with breast cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&#8220;This enhancement to the reimbursement program will allow women like me who have had a mastectomy to feel beautiful and whole again.
